For many, the name Bill "Cat" Miller is synonymous with sports art. Active in basketball & Football in high school and college, his love of sports has led Bill to become an incomparable portrait artist specializing in painting and drawings of sports stars. Among his "greats" are portraits of OSU legends Archie Griffin, Eddie George, Troy Smith, Michael Redd, and many more. But Bill doesn't just stop there. His work has been showcased in "The Ring," the foremost magazine in boxing, and in 2007, the National Quarter Horse Congress contestants requested a commission from Bill. As a matter of fact, it is likely that over the years many of Columbus visitors and residents have seen Bill's work in galleries, coffee shops and art shows throughout the Columbus area.
Bill has won multiple awards and contests and is extremely humble. Bill loves to teach our youth not only in art, but life. Bill sometimes works at the Milo Arts Complex drawing and painting with children and it is observed that he creates an "after school home away from home".
