How much are tickets?
$27/person on the weekends and $24/person on the weekdays (M-Th)
Do we have to fill a room in order to participate?
NOPE!!! If you have less than the maximum for shows, you will join anyone else who buys tickets to your room. If you want a private experience, we suggest clicking the private event button - you'll save money and you'll have the room all to yourself).
How long are the experiences?
All shows are up to 60 minutes, most people will make it the whole time (in others words, you might not escape!)
What's the cancellation policy?
Unfortunately, Trapped Columbus DOES NOT ISSUE REFUNDS! However, we do realize that sometimes you will need to reschedule your show time. As long as you call MORE THAN 48 hours before your scheduled showtime, we will do our best to reschedule you with no additional fees. However, cancellations and no-shows can ruin the experience for others who have scheduled for the same time and that will be taken into consideration in whether or not we can reschedule you.
In addition, if you contact us less than 48 hours ahead of your showtime, you will be charged $10/ticket for rescheduling.
NO SHOWS WILL BE RESCHEDULED if contact is made less than 24 hours ahead of the show
When should I arrive for my experience?
You will have some paperwork to complete and instructions, so please arrive NO LATER THAN 15 minutes BEFORE YOUR SHOWTIME!
What if I arrive late?
The show will go on without you. And once the door closes you WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO ENTER. Also Remember, once you buy a ticket there are no refunds, you should arrive early, or call at least 48 hours ahead to reschedule (614) 754-9448
What should I bring with me?
A passion for sleuthing, all your experiences and a few friends, but otherwise, only what's in your head will help you in the room.
Will Trapped change the themes of the rooms?
All the time... okay maybe not all the time. We will maintain the most popular rooms and will constantly test new rooms. In addition, each room's puzzles will change every 4-5 months. Check with our location manager for details on what session you were in and what others are available. Our goal is to continuously provide exciting, challenging and interesting NEW experiences for you.
Can we book through the phone?
While we HIGHLY encourage customers to book online, but we can take reservations by phone.
Can we cancel or change the time after we booked?
As long as you alert us of a need to reschedule at least 48 hours in advance by phone (614) 754-9448 we will do our best to schedule you for a different time slot, but there are NO REFUNDS.
Can we bring our belongings into the room?
No. We will lock up all cell phones and any valuables during game play. Cell phones, flashlights or other "tools" are NOT permitted!
What is the minimum number of participants for each room?
It depends on the concept, but because each room is meticulously designed with a team of ten to twelve in mind, we will be forced to cancel if fewer than 4 individuals have paid within 4 hours of the show. If we are forced to cancel, you can be added to another scheduled show or you will receive a reschedule code for use at a later time.
Can my kids play?
We have a strict 15 and older policy for mixed rooms (rooms in which your family is NOT the only participants). In other words, children of any age may participate, but under 15 may participate ONLY IF YOU BUY ALL THE TICKETS TO THE EXPERIENCE. This ensures you're the only ones in the room.
Regardless, a parent or guardian MUST sign this waiver (CLICK HERE) prior to the show... you may download, sign and bring with you, or you can complete once you arrive!
Do you take walk-ins?
Walk in customers are allowed, but discouraged. We cannot guarantee you will have a spot without a reservation; especially on weekends as we are then the busiest. Customers are suggested to book their reservation 1-2 weeks in advance in order to guarantee themselves a spot.
How often are teams successful in escaping your rooms?
It depends on the room, but we make the puzzles and clues very difficult on purpose to offer a challenge. You can expect to be successful between 20-30% of the time.
Can I schedule a private show just for my friends or my organization?
Heck yeah! To reserve an entire show for your group, you'll simply need to purchase all 12 tickets, or contact us and we can schedule a special event time just for you.
MUTATED! - What happens if the "zombie" or "mutated creature" touches me?
Believe me, you do not want to get touched by the zombie. If you are touched, you can consider yourself eaten. You may no longer participate in active searching. You will have to sit out, but you will be able to communicate verbally!
